⚠ Currency Images — Special Rules for This Maker (Please Read)
This money worksheet maker works differently from every other worksheet maker on
The Teacher's Corner. Please take a minute to read this section before using or
republishing anything you create here.
Why is this maker different from your other makers?
Our other worksheet makers generate original content (puzzles, math problems, mazes, etc.)
that belongs to you once created. Those worksheets may be used in books and other products you
sell, provided the "Created on TheTeachersCorner.net" citation stays on them.
This maker, however, displays images of real currency — coins and
banknotes issued by central banks and government mints around the world. Those images are
subject to reproduction restrictions set by each issuing authority, and we do not own the
underlying designs. That means we cannot pass along any permission to republish
them .
Can I use these worksheets in a book I'm selling, a commercial product, or any
mass-distributed publication?
No — not if currency images appear in it. We cannot give permission for
the currency images on these worksheets to be reproduced in commercially published or
mass-distributed materials. This includes (but is not limited to) printed books, e-books,
commercial curriculum products, teacher-marketplace listings, subscription content, and any
product offered for sale.
Reproducing images of currency in such materials without the permission of the
issuing bank or mint could expose you to legal claims from those entities — even
if the worksheet itself was generated on our site. Because those claims could indirectly involve
us, we must be firm on this point.
What you CAN do: print copies for your own classroom or home use, exactly
as with our other worksheets, as long as you keep the citation on the copies. See our
Terms of Use .
If you need currency-themed content for a commercial publication, consider drawing or sourcing
your own illustrations that comply with the rules of the issuing authority.
You said you followed each bank's rules. Doesn't that make it safe?
When preparing these images, we made every effort to follow the published reproduction rules
of each bank, mint, or country — including restrictions on size relative to real notes,
resolution, single-sided display, and related guidelines, as far as those rules allow for
educational use.
However: following their rules is not the same as having their permission.
Rules vary by country, they change over time, and interpretations differ. Only the issuing
authority can authorize reproduction of its currency images. For that reason, our care in
preparing the images does not — and cannot — extend reproduction rights to you or
to any commercial publication.
Does this notice apply to the printable/PDF copies and the online "play" versions
too?
Yes. The same restriction applies wherever these currency images appear, including printed
worksheets, PDFs, and shareable online versions.
I represent a central bank, mint, or rights holder and I believe these images violate
our rules. How do I contact you?
Please contact us directly through our
Contact page .
We take these concerns seriously and will respond promptly.
If you ask us to remove or modify the images for your currency, we will cooperate
and do so . We would rather remove an image than dispute a good-faith concern from the
authority that issued it.
Formal copyright complaints may also be submitted via our
DMCA Takedown procedure .
Disclaimer: Nothing on this page is legal advice, and no statement here grants
any license to reproduce currency images. The currency designs remain the property of their
issuing authorities. If you have questions about your intended use, please consult the issuing
bank or mint directly — or your own legal counsel.
General Troubleshooting
Just about everything in this worksheet maker requires Javascript. This is OK for most people because Javascript is active by default. If you have manually turned off Javascript, this worksheet maker will be buggy. We recommend you turn it back on.
Printing Issues
Problems don't fit on the page: Due to the nature of internet programming, we cannot tell how many problems will fit on a page when printed. This will take some experimentation on your part to get the printed page to not "Split" the problem between pages. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND making 4-6 problems on one worksheet. Then make another worksheet with 4-6 problems if you want more problems. This way the content doesn't bleed to the second page making it print out wrong.
Coins/Bills are not very clear when printed : Please make sure that your printer settings are not resizing the worksheet. Any setting with a percent should be 100%, and "Fit to Page" settings should NOT be used. If your printer resizes the images, they will likely lose quality.
Can I make a PDF and store this on my computer?
Yes. This is an option on most computers in the "Print" box that pops up when you print the worksheet
Find the box that allows you to 'choose your printer'.
Simply change the 'printer' in that dialog box to "Adobe PDF" (or similar).
Then choose "Print". You will be given new options on "where to save" your new PDF.
Can I put this worksheet on my website? Can I put this worksheet in my book? etc.
No. Please read our Terms of Use
In general, you are allowed to make copies for classroom or home use only, provided you do not remove the citation on the copies.
Any other uses are forbidden without express written consent of The Teacher's Corner
